ES Safeguards has been entrusted to support state electricity utility from Nepal in developing environmental safeguards documents and climate risk assessment for its high-priority electricity grid modernization investments both in transmission and distribution system in Nepal.
The overall objective of the project is to expand the transmission system infrastructures and to modernize the electricity system with automated infrastructures which will support the government’s target of increasing the grid access to meet the demand of electricity for domestic and industrial consumers and providing safe, reliable and quality electricity supply.
