Mr. Choukiker is one of our founding members. He is leading our teams in strategic decision-making, business planning, project management, and overall functioning of the organization. He is a technocrat, engineer and a safeguards specialist with over 21 years. experience in development market. He is post-graduate in environmental engineering and management from IIT Kharagpur and for last 18 years he has been continuously working on projects and programs supported by International Financing Institutes and private financing institutions. He worked in 22 developing countries from Asia and Pacific region.

Asmita is one of our Directors since inception of ES Safeguards. She is holding master’s degree in management and business administration. She has working experience in general administration, business development, marketing, human resources, finance and accounting, and project management. At ES Safeguards she is managing our finance and administration portfolios including human resources. She has over 16 years’ experience in infrastructure developmental sector.

Mr. Puna is our Executive Director responsible for project execution and resources management. He is holding master degree in environmental science and leading our teams in management and implementation of our projects. He has over 16 years national and overseas experience in project management, resources mobilization, coordination and liaising with clients and regulatory line agencies, and timely delivery of outputs. He is an environment and biodiversity specialist involved in several projects funded by multilateral and bilateral funding agencies in India and overseas.

Nitesh received his master’s degree in environmental engineering and management from IIT Kanpur, India. As an young technocrat he is involved in ongoing and new projects in India and Asia Pacific region. He has over 10 years’ experience in environmental assessment, climate change assessment, air, noise, and vibration modelling, GHG emission estimation, and corporate administration. He has been working on projects financed by multilateral and bilateral funding agencies projects.

Mr. Amar is one of our senior staff with over 24 years’ experience in general management and logistics. He is responsible for coordination and management of our projects at field level. He is managing our resources and manpower for field studies and investigations as well as client’s meetings.

Poonam is a social worker with over 12 years’ experience in social development. She is supporting our teams in social impact assessment, gender and poverty, and rehabilitation and resettlement studies. She is involved in projects funded by multilateral and bilateral agencies.

Sachin is our your environmental engineer. He is a civil engineer and completed master’s degree in environmental engineering and management. He supporting us in environmental assessment, GIS and IT analysis, noise and air assessments.

Rashmi is our senior consultant in the field of social, gender, and women empowerment. She has 6 years’ experience in social and poverty assessments, and gender mainstreaming. She is involved in several projects across sectors.
